The business of Pfuntner Chrysler Center Inc., Sales and Service began in Canaseraga, New York as a Mobile station and sales of cars. Eugene "Pal" Pfuntner, the founder, became disgruntled with the prices of vehicles as he shopped for a truck for his business. Deciding to acquire a truck sales franchise, he later became a Dodge dealer in 1938 starting at his Canaseraga location. "Pal" later moved the entire dealership to its' present location in Wellsville at 106 Railroad Ave.

During the 1960's, "Pal" acquired all the Chrysler franchises and was active in the business until his death in 1995. The new owner, Grant Benham, is committed to continuing the tradition of quality sales and service begun in 1938.

Since he acquired the dealership in 1998, Grant has made many positive changes, updating the building and equipment to satisfy the needs of the growing technology which today's vehicles are manufactured with. The addition of more complex computerized vehicles, means the need for our sales, parts and service departments to be highly knowledgeable and our service equipment to be up to date with advanced technology.

We offer complete up to date electronic on-line diagnostic and parts ordering services. The newest addition to our service department is the latest in ground force wheel balancing equipment and new tire machine to work with all the upcoming changes in tire sizes.

Our service department has a total of 100 years combined automotive experience. Our technicians are factory trained in the latest diagnostic procedures and are required every year to attend enough classes to keep their certification current through Daimler Chrysler Academy.
